Legend has it Lorenzillo’s got its name from a pirate who came ashore nearby with his crew in 1693, hungry for a home-cooked meal. Dissatisfied with the dining options available, they looted the town. Lorenzillo’s seeks to prevent such a catastrophe from happening again.
